Doja Cat's connection to visual art runs through a specific photograph rather than her own studio practice: photographer David LaChapelle's 2021 portrait of her, Gone With the Wind, a hyper-saturated, theatrically staged image sold as a limited-edition print through Milan's Deodato Arte gallery. That same photograph became the official cover art for her 2023 album Planet Her, one of the more direct crossovers between contemporary fine-art photography and mainstream pop packaging in recent memory. In November 2025 she also appeared as musical guest at LACMA's Art+Film Gala, an event that sits closer to the art world's own calendar than a typical concert booking.
