KURS is a Belgrade-based collective working in socially engaged public and print art, best known for "Zidne novine" ("Wall Newspapers"), a recurring poster series addressing social and political issues like housing that's displayed directly in public space rather than inside a gallery. The group also runs traveling exhibitions and has staged shows including "Zamišljene granice" ("Imagined Borders"), and has taken part in Belgrade's Queer Salon. Details on the group's founding date and exact membership are harder to pin down publicly than its output, which is itself in keeping with a practice more interested in collective public statement than individual artist biography.
