Belgrade's old grain silos on the Sava riverbank, industrial concrete towers built to store grain for a city that has moved well past needing them for that purpose, have been repurposed in recent years into a riverside cultural and entertainment complex, part of a broader wave of adaptive reuse that's transformed several of the city's old industrial sites into cultural venues. As part of a cultural exchange with Barcelona, the site received a major new mural from a Spanish artist, a concrete addition to what has become an increasingly significant open-air canvas along the Sava.
