When did art last move you?

Capture it before it fades.

Art experiences are fleeting. Capture the artwork, write one sentence, and keep the moment in your art journal.

That simple habit is the idea behind artjournal.ing.

About This Artwork

A heavily worked oil painting that depicts a stylized stallion built from angular planes and thick impasto strokes against a dark, ambiguous background. The artist uses layered, geometric brushwork and strong textural contrasts to suggest the horse's mass and presence rather than a strictly naturalistic rendering.
