Skull of a Skeleton with Burning Cigarette

Personal Reflection

This is probably one of my favorite paintings of all time, because I find it humiliating for some reason, it feels so real seeing a dead body smoking literally. I live in a country (Italy) where a lot of people smoke and it's a "normal" thing seeing people smoking, whether it's on the road, in a house, in the car or anywhere. I just feel like this painting represents Italy in the last years: Italy's medium age is like 60 or something like that and we smoke a lot. Exactly what the subject of this painting is. GG Vincent :)
